High-entropy spinel-structure oxides as oxygen evolution reaction electrocatalyst

High-entropy oxides are an upcoming research topic due to their broad range of possible crystal structures and applications. In this work, we want present the change in catalytic properties when using different elements create a high-entropy spinel. Therefore, used nebulized-spray pyrolysis synthesize spinel (Mn 0.2 Fe Ni Mg Zn ) 3 O 4 later on exchanged or with multiple oxidation states, our example each Cr Co. The phase purity, morphology, microstructure homogeneity were investigated by XRD, SEM STEM-EDX. Their electrocatalytic performance stability was measured via oxygen evolution reaction cyclic voltammetry compared IrO 2 , as reference. best synthesized materials achieved .
